Why?

Can't I just get my table cleaned off and start scrapping or card making?  I spend all my time taking care of my family, my client, and any one else who needs something..Why do I not allow the same attention to myself?  Why do I feel guilty when I  take time for me?  I need to face the fact that I am NEVER going to have a perfectly clean house and laundry caught up...

You are so right! If you don't take care of yourself, eventually you won't be able to care for anyone else.

Why? Probably for no other reason than just that you care!!! Simple as that!!! My aunt takes up so much of my time, but I love her... So you do what you have to do!!!

Often we tend our own needs last -- when I get really tired of my aunt, I take time for me!!! She's okay, she can wait a minute!!! LOL!!! When all is well and there is time, don't let anyone else use it up -- it's yours -- you use it!!!

Easier said than done I know but you've got to put yourself first or you won't be able to do anything for anybody or yourself!

Time for yourself is important. It rejubates you so you can deal with everything else you have to face. Don't neglect yourself. Scraping, card making, crafts, painting all help to reduce stress and give a feeling of calm. Your family does not want you sick or upset, so take this time and don't feel guily. This is therapy. Plus it is a gift from God. Edwina Brown
