"It's All About LOVE" Blog Hop!!

LOVE Blog Hop
Welcome to the "It's All About LOVE" Blog Hop!!

We're so happy you could join us for this super-fun hop showcasing cards, layouts and projects that feature anything and everything all about LOVE!!   You'll find an array of ideas throughout this hop -- From decorations to gift ideas and more, we hope you'll enjoy each and every project along the way!!  Be sure to leave a comment at each hop stop to be entered in our Monthly Drawing (details available at http://memoriesintyme.blogspot.com)

If you've hopped over from Suzanne http://cricutcraftingrammy.blogspot.com/, then you are in the right place!!  If you've just popped in to visit my blog or are reading this via email and you'd like to join our FUN, then please go to Lynda's blog (http://memoriesintyme.blogspot.com) to start at the beginning...

For the hop today, I've created .......

Jim and I re-met in 1969 at my cousin's home in Cincinnati.  I had gone there for the summer between my Junior and Senior year of high school. The picture from 1970 is my graduation picture, May 31st and we got married June 5th!  I was 17 and everyone thought because I moved to Cincinnati that I must have had to get married because I was pregnant!  Fact of the matter is that it took me nearly 11 years to get my son and that was only after we moved back to Springfield and the people we bought our home from told us about an infertility specialist..  The 1971 picture is our 1st anniversary and the small framed picture is just from 1973.  Then the final larger picture was when we went to Nashville, Indiana for our anniversary in 2007.  You can see that each of us lost that youthful figure but we still like to KISS!  LOL

This is a layout I did of my son's wedding.  It was a gorgeous day and when the sun started to set it turned the sky such a gorgeous shade of orange. I was so proud of him and he has turned out to be such a great husband and father..It really doesn't have alot of glitz or bling or layers but I wanted the wedding to be the focus not the "stuff".

I have shared this layout once before but with the theme of this hop being love I felt that I really needed to share it again.  If you just look at my son's face as he looks into the face of his first born and also a son, there really are no words to do this picture justice. I don't know if you can enlarge this picture big enough to read the journaling but it is a Father's Prayer and it just says it all.

Well, that is my contribution to this hop.  I am not a crafter so much as I love to scrapbook.  I love to see all the crafts everyone makes and sometimes I feel like I let viewers down by not having one myself but it sure is fun to share my family and pictures with you all.

Now if you would be so kind as to leave me a quick comment I would love to hear all you have to say.  I will be giving away some blog candy to someone chosen by Random.org from among those who commented . Not exactly sure yet what I am going to put together but it will be fun and worth the wait to find out.

Thank you again for checking out my project...  Now follow the links below and remember to visit all the stops for MAXIMUM ideas and LOTS OF FUN!!

Your next stop is Rhonda! http://craftingwithblue.blogspot.com  Just wait until you see what she has designed for you!!

I think your scrapbook pages are more memorable and special than any card/craft project. They will last forever and so beautifully relay the feelings of that moment. The one of your son & the baby is awesome. I did read the journal poem and it is soooo perfect indeed.

I love looking at layouts more than the projects so there is no let down here. I love all three layouts and want to thank you for sharing pieces of your family's love with all of us.

Vicki, I am NEVER disappointed by your layouts!! The love and care that you put into each page far outweighs any card or craft I could ever imagine!! I love each layout, but my favorite for today is the first one of you and your husband -- To be able to see those similar pictures year after year is more precious than anything... You truly inspire me with the love you share for your family.

Thanks so much for hopping with us this weekend!!
